Department of Agrarian Development has initiated the mapping of paddy fields across the country these days. Mapping of paddy fields is done through the Geo Goviya application in order to know how much paddy land is currently there in our country and to measure the actual size of the paddy lands.
These activities are done completely free of charge, relevant paddy land owning farmers are not charged any money.
Department of Agrarian Development has informed the farmers to immediately inform District Assistant Commissioner of Agrarian Development if any person or officer requests money from farmers for the mapping of paddy fields.
