Door open for Sri Lankan Youths for employment opportunities in Japan.

The Japanese Government has agreed to provide employment opportunities to 1000 youths of this country in agriculture farms in Japan. The Memorandum of Understanding to this effect is to be signed soon. This was revealed by Sri Lankan Ambassador in Japan Mr. Gunesekara participating in discussion held through zoom technology today (15). Participating in the same discussion Agriculture Minister MahindanandaAluthgamage expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for his mediation to provide 1000 employments to our youths. The Minister pointed out that the necessary language training and other training facilities to the selected youth could be made available through the Bureau of Foreign Employment. This discussion was attended by Labour Minister NamalSiripala de Silva along with Japanese farm owners and the officers of the Foreign Employment Bureau.
