The 37th session of the Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific of Food and Agriculture Organization

The 37^th session of the Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific of Food and Agriculture Organization will be held on February 19,20,21 and 22 at the Hilton Hotel Colombo.

The minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Republic of Tonga;  Mr. Sioni Sile, who is the first guest who came to the Sri Lanka to participate in the conference, was received yesterday at the Bandaranayake International Airport by the state minister of Agriculture, Mr. Mohan de Silva.

A number of Ministry officials including Mrs. Latheesha Liyanage, Additional  Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Plantation Industries and a group of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also participated in this event.
