Arrangements have been made to issue rice to all super markets, Sathosa sale outlets (C.W.E.) and co-operative sale centres from 1st April at Government controlled price in view of the coming festive season. Accordingly consumers may purchase ‘’Nadu’’ at Rs.97 and Red and White ‘’Kekulu’’ at Rs.95/-
Chairman, CWE, Co-operative Commissioner and Chief Executive Officers of all Super Markets met Agriculture Minister MahindanandaAluthgamage today and they agreed to issue rice to be made available through the Paddy Marketing Board at the fixed prices. Accordingly consumers will be given the opportunity to obtain their from requirement from 4000 sale outlet network island wide belonged to these institutions.
