The New Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture assumes duties at the auspicious time.

Mr. M.B Rohana Pushpakumara assumed duties today as the new Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture. Agriculture Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage and officials of the Ministry joined this occasion. He is a senior officer of the Administrative service who functioned as the District Secretary of Galle and Nuwara Eliya.

Mr.Rohana Pushpakumara who received his higher education at Universities of Colombo and Kelaniya has joined the state service in 1996 as an Assistant Election Commissioner. Since then he has held various positions in the Sri Lanka Administrative Service and gained wide experience during his tenure of office.
