Agri Tech 24 Agri Tech Exhibition will be held from March 02 to 05 at the Hungama Batata Agri Tech Park.

The Agri Tech 24 Agricultural Technology Exhibition, organized with the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Plantation Industry and all its affiliated institutions, has been completed by now to hold the Agri Tech 24 Agricultural Technology Exhibition from March 2nd to 5th at the Hungama Batata Agricultural Technical Park.

In this exhibition, which is held with the aim of introducing new agricultural technology to the farmers, around 65 booths will be displayed by government institutions, 26 small-scale entrepreneurs' agricultural product outlets and more than 35 private sector booths will be engaged in exhibition activities.

The specialty of this exhibition is the display of new agricultural techniques currently used in agriculture. Also, knowledge to the public including school students, agricultural entrepreneurs, etc. regarding many aspects such as getting more yield by using the new technology, introducing quality agricultural products by using less amount of water and minimum fertilizer, introducing new types of seeds, seed production, prevention of pest damage etc. The Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industry, Mr. Mahinda Amaraweera says that arrangements have been made to provide it.

The exhibition will be held from 10.00 am to 07.00 pm on the above days. Moreover, the opening ceremony of this exhibition is scheduled to be held on 02.03.2024 at 10.30 am at the Hungama Batata Agricultural Technical Park under the chairmanship of the Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industry, Mr. Mahinda Amaraweera.
